Hello Rahul, I think you should also mention(your experience) how performance art is being transfered into databases in order to monopolize the the funding resources.
yes performance is being documented and transfered into databases, you know i am myself a researcher documentor of contemporary peformance art. one may not so easyly yet say that there is a monopoly over funding resources...infact as artists, curators the onus is on us to contest the formation of monopolies....yes they do tend to shape up but shantanu, that is the very nature of hegemonies...dont think that there is too much point in lament....there is much hope in contestaion.
this curation itself is an experiment with possible tools of contestaion....letssee what happens
